PlayLab - Grown up Flowers
Grown up flowers is a multi-site installation set up by PlayLab studios. The installation reimagine flowers in a enlarged state giving visitors a new perspective on these iconic and playful representations of the flower, allowing them to appreciate the minor beauty of the object in a more obvious sense. Six different flowers by the names of Jack, Rose, Teddy, Wilson, Kerri and Wilt were made, arranged in different positions, portraying their own persona through their form and colour.
Could the exaggerating/inflating of an object/process through projection or an interactive installation present different connotations or themes to the original content.
