Range of materials that would have been manufactured on Kelham Island in the past (steel works, cotton mills) suspended so that they impair or completely stop the projection from showing on the canvas.
The projections were on industrial related videos from youtube.
Two separate projectors projecting images, created a layering on the canvas, where the shadow of the materials would cast in the original protection which created some interesting contrasts in visuals.
The layering of objects/materials at different depths and heights, created a more interesting visual dynamic as the forms/shadows felt less linear in their placement.
