Card stock with slightly thicker card stock on the outer side, as to make the book easier to glue to steel sheet cover. The book opens up as planned when the card isn't attached to the steel sheet cover, but when attached the spacing of the pages feels cluttered, making the content hard to read and makes it hard to read a double page spread as it won't open out fully or close shut flat.
