Type Experiments

An obnoxious quote from Donald Trump on the building of 'the wall', supposedly stopping the illegal entry of Mexican migrants into USA. The kerning and structure of the type is broad and evenly spread in a square like form, as to represent the physically large and imposing construction 

A Malcolm X speech on taking physical initiative to make progress in fight for equality. 'sometimes you have to pick a gun UP to put the gun DOWN' - The Type placement follows the two key words 'up' and 'down', presenting the first half of the quote on the top half of the 1st page and the second half of the quote on the bottom half of the 2nd page.

Alliance part slogan (2017 )he type simply follows the rule of the word, each line of 'change' simply changes the type; stroke, kerning, style and/or leading; and direction simply changes the direction the type is placed. 

'Great Expectations' quote highlight the large quantity of content that contains family titles and/or names; with the gridding/placement of the type portraying a gravestone - inspired by the 'passing on' of names and heavy use of family titles within the content.

Inspired by a snippet from the content, 'never saw any likeness', the each line starts from an opposing line after each sentence and has a subtle difference in leading after each sentence to remove the consistency of the type away.
