• working together - book is a tool to improve a space (sand paper) 
• The book improves (as a community would) 
• see that something is being 'taking away' - tips ons - how things have been taken away from a place 
• taking stuff away from imagery - what process could I use to take away (laser cut or sand paper) - how brutal is this process (how brutal is the change through gentrification) 
• Memory - the image is gone but the text is still there or vice versa (the people still remember) 
• Laser cut text out (french fold for paper so can't see the burns) 
• what overtakes the page before  
• duck jacket over imagery. so user has to physically remove it to see the imagery
