books have 2 structures a physical structure - and then a structure of how you read - how can these be played with - could the imagery be cut off and spread over the page before for example (what are the rules?)

About
Two books documenting the 'mass storage' of images in an online format (Tumblr). There is an emphasis on overlapping imagery and type, to further communicate the overwhelming amount of content. The page isn't set at a full bleed, leaving a small edge to the book, presenting the border we see on our desktop as we view these webpages.Book 1
Front + Back Cover
The title 'DIGI BOOK' references the digital catalogue of photos from Tumblr; the leading is very small to replicate the overlapping small type from the Tumblr text on the inner pages. While the leading does draw some reference to the 'URL' type from within, it still doesn't draw an obvious link to the type within. If I was to develop the covers, I would simply use the same type as within the book, in the same position as seen within (on the header + footer).
Inner Pages
The inner pages are comprised of the photos from searching 'books' into Tumblr. Printing straight from the Tumblr arranges the photos automatically into a collage of layered imagery; this I feel communicates the mass of photos stored on the site effectively.
Bind
Bound using staples; ideally would have been perfect bound, but A3 paper wouldn't fit into the perfect bind machine. If I was to develop this book further I would saddle stitch bind the book (print it in saddle stitch format), so that none of the content was obscured by the fold of the paper.
Book 2
Bind
Smaller A4 book, same content as other, but bound in a perfect bind as to give it a cleaner aesthetic.
Inner Page
Again same content as the A3 book, but this time the inner pages are folded and skewed as to reveal different compositions within the layout of the imagery. The folding of corners of the pages builds a new relationship between the images, presenting different thems than the first book.
